Job description
Our UHNW client is seeking to hire a Head Chef to join the crew of one the most prestigious superyachts cooking for the billionaire owner and their guests and travelling around Europe Sea. The Superyacht is based in Barcelona, Spain.
They are looking for a creative and highly skilled head chef with a wide variety of cuisines, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
The ideal candidate must be passionate about food, respectful and a strong team player. The candidate will be responsible to cook for the main principal, guests and crew members. Up to 16 people.
The successful candidate must be available on the following dates:

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Cooking healthy meals according to the clients' preferences
- Building a great relationship with the owner directly. Working with the owner to devise menus, share expertise and knowledge of local producers to come up with innovative produce and menus.
- Preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks using fresh and locally sourced food
- Preparing meals with specific dietary requirements (e.g. gluten free, vegetarian, etc)
- Creating creative and beautiful food presentations
- Preparing fine dining cuisine and wide variety of different cuisines – Asian, Mediterranean, Vegetarian and Vegan, etc
- Cooking for guests and crew members when required
- Ordering and buying fresh and locally sourced ingredients
The owner has a strong interest in environmental sustainability and the chef will be expected to source produce from sustainable sources - ie locally produced, organic, high ethical standard, high standard of animal welfare. Chef will be comfortable telling the story of the food to excite the owner and guests at the table.
Profil requirement
- Highly skilled chef with experience working for high end/top fine dining restaurants
- Previous experience working for UHNW clients
- Experience working on a superyacht is a plus
